If you’re not racing with us, many of us stream the races on twitch, the links for which will be posted on race day. A list of streamers from the previous round can be found !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Also, instead of using parties or gamechat, we are going to be using the Oppositelock Racing/Digital Burnouts Discord to communicate during the races. If for some reason we are not using the app or it fails, we will be using gamechat to communicate, and hoping for the best. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

BUILD RULES HAVE BEEN FINALIZED! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . A HUGE thank you to Snauffleophagus, dat iKingFeces, HCR generaltso, and Tellurium132 for helping with BoP this time around! Any car that has had it’s build changed is highlighted in yellow on the build sheet, and a lot of cars have been updated, so read through the sheet carefully. Also, the required number of pit stops has been finalized. There will be 2 required pit stops for Sports-Proto and 3 for GT cars.
In light of the ongoing return of the invisible car glitch, I want to remind everyone of the contingency plan for that event. The race will start under the assumption that this will not happen, so sim damage will be on and pit stops are required. If it is 100% confirmed that cars are turning invisible after pitting, the race will be red flagged immediately and all cars will stop on track. Positions will be recorded, and we will quit out and return to the lobby. Damage will be set to cosmetic and pit stops will no longer be required. REMEMBER TO SET YOUR PERSONAL SETTING TO COSMETIC. After this, the race will resume with a shorter lap length to reflect the amount of the race that was already completed.
And remember this is an endurance round, so this race will be 2 hours instead of 1.5. Practice accordingly.
Look for more reminders for this race over the next few weeks. If anything changes before the next race, I’ll post about it there first.

let me know when you go back to a series that’s less complicated. you guys have a discord but i still couldn’t find actual info about this racing series. it’d always be stuff about reddit racing.

Large mix of people on the discord. Reddit and Oppo racing series are kind of conjoined at this point in the sense that pretty much the same people drive them. Info for all the races was in #race_control, sign up post for this series should be pinned. As for simplicity, kind of depends what you want. Cowmaster is gonna run Super Trofeo on Wednesday nights, but that's technically a Reddit series. Or if you just mean less events, not completely sure what to say. This is the only full Oppo series running right now, but like I said RedditRacing and Oppo intermingle so much now that their series are posted across discords. On top of that consistent attendance means a lot of people participating and also wanting to run their own stuff. Not gonna lie a whole lot going on. The trick is just finding what you wanna race and just sticking to that, ignoring the rest.

Fair enough. There’s a fine line between disorganized and no rules and organized and too many rules. Over time the series got more rules because we got better at running them and also got more competitive in game. So suddenly rules appeared. I try to keep it as bare bones as possible but at the same time I don’t want people getting unfair advantages. We’ve kind of evolved for better or worse. Doesn’t mean you won’t see races like you want again. Got a one-off event planned that is pretty open ended. Not off the table next series won’t be enduro either.
